This CO-AX Coaxial Centering Indicator can Quickly and accurately center in boring and milling set-up on horizontal or vertical machines. When principal axis rotates, the dial plate faces operator throughout for him/her to center.
Operate at an angle from horizontal to vertical machines and from internal to external diameter without any change by simply changing the feeler. The face of the indicator remains stationary at any position while the machine spindle rotates, accurately position the table.

Good for basic use. For the price it's pretty high end and well built. However the head has a good amount of left to right play in it, about the same as some of the higher end ones, but enough that rounding in a .150 or smaller drill on a lathe is bassically impossible to be dead on accurate. And using the medium probe has quite a bit of variance and left to right play, and the long probe, haha ya forget about it.But like I said well worth it for the money and I use it nearly every day at work. It's well built and feels like good quality construction and comes in a very nice hard case. And very easy to read.7/10 would suggest for your next co-axil.Good for holding+/- .0005 using short probe.+/- .002 using medium probe, no small diameters.I dont even use the long probe, at all, unless it's like a 5.0 dia hole or something, but good luck

Works well but the steady is not nearly long enough. Telescoping would be better and worth charging more for. Also it beaks easily so watch out

Having previously bought a fantastic, high quality magnetic dial indicator ‘noga’ type arm from Neoteck, I was willing to pay a bit more (as compared to non-branded versions) for this Neoteck indicator. I’m sorry to say that it does not live up to my expectations. It is a low quality item because the play in the measuring hinge is such (no matter how you tighten the little bolt) that it is practically useless. Unfortunately, shipping cost from the Netherlands to USA are so high it is not worth returning it, even though it can be justly qualify as defective on arrival. Amazon, pleasec take not: you should reimburse full return shipping cost for defective items!

This is going to be a huge help in my home machine shop for quick and accurate setups and zeroing my DRO after mounting and locating a known point on the work piece.The Movement of the gauge feels smooth but the “lever†(black piece) articulation feels quite gritty, as do the screws and threads for the gauge tips and the hand shank.Comes with a handy hard plastic storage case with all the tools and attachments required for use.

The kit comes in a custom blow-molded piano-hinge case with extra thick external cavities, as well as very ample padding to prevent concussive damage. All parts are individually wrapped in plastic bags with moisture control paper.Machining quality is very good, with no deflection whatsoever over entire 360 degrees with smooth rotation. The dial indicator has major graduations in thousandths with minor graduations in 0.0005ths. It snaps back exactly to origin each time without overshoot. I have many dial indicators that like to return to non-zero but this one is better, perhaps because it's jeweled. You get 4 thousandths of preload to use if you like to preload your probe and noon the dial at the same time. The dial window is plastic, possibly polycarb I can't be sure. The guard ring is easy to remove and put back and allows for increased range when out.There is a good selection of probe lengths and shapes and everything is organized neatly and easy to return to it's slot in the foam.This is a second tool from Neoteck I've had a look at recently and the build quality of the previous one was also quite good, so this seems to be a trend for the brand and a good sign.

The screw adjustment is oddly rough feeling. But the accuracy and usefulness of this tool is worth it for setups needing high accuracy. I like the hard case rather than the cheap soft bags a lot of products come with lately. Very useful.
