Great features nice storage pouch and instructions are decent. The only issue I had was mostly a learning curve thing, it will only detect one object at a time, i,e when sliding over the wall once the 1st stud is located it will not clear itself once it passed over, I learned this while trying to find the stud spacing. So now I just find the 1st stud on the wall and then manually measure for the next one, which in my home is 16" apart.I highly recommend once you find the first stud you do a small test with a finishing nail or some other small nail to verify.

Stud finder, AC checker, laser, level are all that I use. This tool does what I need it to do. The distance estimator is not very accurate, because I have measured multiple times to a wall from the same location and I get different measurements. But I have only messed with it a few times, for over 20 feet.

I bought this stud finder hoping it would help with a simple home project, but it turned out to be completely unreliable. It constantly gave false readings, either showing studs where there were none or missing them altogether. I tried using it on several different walls, both drywall and plaster, and the results were inconsistent every time.The additional features, like live wire detection, seemed like a good idea but didn’t work well either. It kept beeping randomly, even when there were no wires present. The instructions were vague, and despite following them carefully, I couldn’t get this tool to perform as advertised.For the price, I expected something much more dependable. Save your money and look for a different brand. This one is a waste of time and money!

It took me a bit to figure out how to use this product the instructions are not well written and not very clear! But a friend came over and we figured it out.

I’ve had several stud finders. This compared to others is more difficult to use and the accuracy is not as good. It will give you false positives on studs and in other cases doesn’t alert you to them. I would say it’s off about 20% of the time. There are better options for about the same price.

This thing does it's functions, but frankly felt too cheap to keep, and I have some cheap things. This just felt like a child's toy - think "My First - Stud Finder", "and I don't mean your wife", fragile, slapped together, and a product, made larger than it needed to be, trying to seem more substantial than it actually is.It's light, feels very hollow, and overall made by a business that slammed shut it's door on your foot, after shipping it to you. PREXISO isn't in the tool game to win it folks, is what I'm saying.I hung a single shelf and somehow hated every minute, I held this thing, and sent it right back after. I suspect that if you kept this thing, you'd find it cracked at the bottom of you tool bag, after three uses time.Hope this helps,Thanks for listening, Edmund
