This sliding screen door handle and latch is non-handed and used as a replacement handle set for 1/2 inch extruded and roll-formed sliding screen doors. The handle has mounting holes 3 inch on center. Each factory sealed package include an inside handle, outside handle with a steel latch. The steel latch is 2-13/16 inches long with a 1/2 inch projection and slides up and down to engage the Prime-Line keeper A 148 (Not Included). This sliding screen door latch and pull is constructed from black plastic. It includes a steel latch with a non-handed mortise style design. This style latch is used on 1/2" extruded and roll-formed doors.

Installed in less than 10 minutes including removal of the old one and is a perfect fit. My old one was cracked and damaged from the AZ heat and this was a very simple replacement/repair.

My old screen door handle and latch that have been used for more than 20 years have been falling into pieces. This product is the exactly the same design and fits perfectly. I would highly recommend it.I gave it a 4 star for price since I would think this simple product should cost $4 or less. Maybe the price is higher due to free shipping and return cost.

Difficile d’installation avec la petite barre de métal intégrée à même la poignée. Il faut absolument ajuster le petit loquet intégrer au cadre de la porte patio (abaisser/remonter) avec une bonne vis!
