These locks can mount on most single-hung and double-hung vertical sliding windows constructed of vinyl. Each lock features a cam-type mechanism that is designed to draw the keeper in firmly towards the lock, providing your windows with tighter seals, better weatherizing, and increased security. They are constructed of durable diecast zinc, and come in a corrosion-resistant, industry standard white-painted finish to match other existing hardware that may already be in the home. Depending on the size of the sash, these locks can be used as singles or in pairs. Each set includes one lock and keeper, installation fasteners and simple instructions. Installation of these sash locks is easy and can be done with a simple handheld Phillips head screwdriver. Other design features include cam-action fastening and 2-1/16 inch mounting hole centers on both the lock and keeper. These sash locks mount on vertical sliding vinyl windows where the checkrails (also known as “meeting rails”) of both the inner and outer sash rest flush. This sash lock is constructed from die cast and comes finished in white. It features a cam action hook which draws the keeper tight when locked. The latch body has anti-jimmy studs which engage the keeper.

We got a price from window mfg to replace the broken lock. Looked around and found this. It works well, seems fairly secure. It screwed in and lined up with the old holes. Was easy to replace the old one.

Bought this to replace a broken sash. My house was built 2003 I was hoping that this would be compatible and it 100% was. This made installation very easy without having to drill any additional holes. Quality is good. Works well. Would buy this product again

I needed to replace a broken Pella lock. The hole pattern was not the same, so needed to redrill. Was able to repair the window and it is holding up well.

This was a basic generic window lock, nice because i was able to buy on he amazon didn't have to go out to a big box. The price was great.

The sash lock keeper do not have counter sinks so the screw heads stick up above the lock keeper which is a bad look. Secondly, although the sash lock keepers have slotted holes , the outer slot dimensions are barely 2-1/16 centers. If you are planning to buy this product to replace existing sashes then beware that this sash may nor be an exact fit for what you previously had or look good with protruding screw heads on the lock keeper.If you are fitting these to a new window then they are adequate and will do the job but again the sash lock keeper is not a good look.

The item itself was exactly what I was looking for: a sash lock with a slim profile. It was the only hardware I could find online that fit my specifications. The disappointment was in the packaging, both of the manufacturer and the seller, namely, Amazon. One piece of the lock got lost, and I had to order another one as quickly as possible because of time constraints. I guess decent packaging is…expensive?
