I purchased these to hide some nicks and scratches around the base cabinet knob where we keep the 13 gallon kitchen garbage can. My new brass plate needed a little work before I installed them. These are not a solid piece of brass, they are hollow, and the back outer circle had some places almost knife edge sharp. A little touch up with sandpaper took care of this.You can't simply mount the knob and crank down on the machine screw, or it will deform the plate as the knob pulls into the cabinet. However, a 2 or 3 small washers on the screw between the front of the cabinet and the back of the plate will keep it from deforming.This plate covered up all of the damage we did to this cabinet door and looks great.I should have put this on the heavily used door when we installed the cabinets, but better late than never. The cabinet looks brand new again.Thanks Prime Line. This is the largest plate we could find in brass plate at a reasonable price.(It's not brass, but stamped steel.)I'm sure that this plate will also suffer dings and nicks from garbage abuse, but with a pack of 5, I'm in FAT CITY !

Sturdy, but the color is off in the photo. They were a little more rustic than I anticipated. I thought they were a little shinier.

I used these to restore the original metal closet doors I had. I kept the knobs but the backings were completely scratched up. These are slightly bigger and honestly they came a little scratched right out of the package. However they are the closest I could find to the right size and color of the original.

Fit perfectly with our existing hardware (knobs) The color matched 100%. Hides scratches and will protect the paint from being damaged by fingernails and daily use. I am very happy with the look. Did not need to buy anything. Just un screwed the knobs ..fit the backplate and screw the knobs back on. All by hand. Tools not needed. Gotta love that ! Wow fast delivery. Thankyou.
