This was the right size (make sure you check what size spline you need, there are several common sizes) spline for re-screening our black synthetic screen doors that had had numerous people walk into them. If you get a small tool set to help remove the old spline and install the new spline with the new screen material, it takes very little time. Saves a bunch of money instead of the headache of trying to hire someone to re-screen patio doors for you, too.

Essentially what the title says, the product is definitely the same but it seems like it's no longer manufactured in the USA like the product in the image says it is. I took off two stars for this - I would encourage the seller to change the image.Overall though it still feels like it's quite high quality - better than the other ones I bought to compare - I ended up going with this one.

I dropped the new spool of splining. It fell two feet onto the grass, and one side of the spool separated from the hub. The reel had come apart, and that could have been a real mess. I needed to take fender washers and a long quarter inch bolt to hold the spool together, to prevent the incipient entanglement.

I specifically ordered this product it stated in large letters "Made in the USA" and I wanted the best possible product . But my spool didn't look like anything pictured in the add AND it says Made in China. Sure the product works but thats not the point. I would've returned but I already removed some screens and didn't want to wait
