So I got this gi for Judo, but it is definitely not a Judo gi. Luckily, my instructor is awesome and she let me use it anyway (she said it looks more like a Tae Kwon Do gi). It's durable though, it went through some rough and tumble stuff and no tears or wearing down of the fabric. It also dries pretty quickly so that whole "do not machine dry" isn't that big of a deal. It's just a liiiiiitle bit small in the waist, but it's elastic so it's not too big of a deal; the rest fit normally- I'm tall (5'10, I got a size 4) and everything was a good length.

I like that it arrived on time and it does not shrink. The pants are too long but that's good, she can grow into them, the material is good. I like the set and the 7 year old does too. Nice!

Sizing is confusing and I took a gamble. I bought size 000 for 5 1/2 year old son, who is on the smaller side. He is short for his age. It fits great but the material is so hard and very hot. We live in Hawaii and the Dojo doesn't have AC. He sweats a lot. I washed in cold and hang dry and it has not shrunk.

I gave this item 3 stars because I could not give it 2.5. I ordered this lightweight uniform for training and my upcoming master belt test. The material is super lightweight and soft. The jacket fits well but the pants are way too thin! I'm165lbs standing 5'7" and can't pull them up past my thighs. So, love the top, hate the bottom.

This product is lightweight. Not heavy like some gi uniforms. I also love that I can wash it and it is fine. Finally, it has an elastic waistband. The listing was not completely clear on this. You can tell there is a drawstring, but hard to tell if there is elastic at the waist. There is actually both. Fortunately, my kids don't even need to use the drawstring. My kids are a healthy level of thin, so it is really nice to not have to cinch it up to fit their smaller waists. The elastic is the perfect fit! They love their uniforms!

The size chart is incorrect the size kids age 12 for children is for a smaller child.

My first gi was a ProForce 7.5 Oz in size 3 - I'm a 5'9" male weighing roughly 140 lbs. I practice aikido and wanted a judo gi so I ordered a ProForce Gladiator judo gi in size 3 and it was easily two sizes too big. I returned it and rather than guess at the size I opted to try this gi since summer is almost here and my dojo isn't air conditioned. It fits exactly like my other size 3 and it is very light weight! Considerably lighter than my 7.5 Oz which I didn't expect.The stitching looks solid but time will be the real test. We don't throw by the gi all that often so I don't expect it to wear apart any time soon. Absolutely worth the price.
