I use this to sift the vermiculture (worm compost) and put the worms back in the bin. I am glad to have this and it seems it will last a long time. It is a good size to use over a bucket. I thought I would want something bigger but this works just fine.

I used this product to sift out about 150 pounds of crushed stone from my garden soil. I liked the fact that the sifter wasn't larger because I could shovel it full with one hand and shake the soil loose with the other, making short work of the whole enterprise. With about three pounds of material in it per load times a whole lot of loads, both the frame and screening stayed rigid and fully intact throughout.

Very sturdy, mesh was a little to big for sifting but I will keep it.

Okay: I have sifted the equivalent of about 200 sq. feet of soil with this little thing--soil right from my yard that was once surrounding shrubs, trees or under sod. Anything wider or heavier or shallower would have been entirely wrong for weeks worth of work as I try to sift my soil into what will on day become fallow usable garden soil. My time is free and this product was cheap but will probably last for many more years. It's been in touch with everything, and no damage from moisture in the soil, even when left in the rain for days. I'm sick of soil and grit but this product made it at least possible. Thanks for making something lasting.

It will work, however the quality of construction is very poor. I wanted a heavy sifter and this is it. The welds are terrible, with significant gaps and overgrinding. I don't expect perfection with these things from Amazon, but this was pretty bad.
