You may or may not ever sell your quad or bike and it really is nice to know how many hours of use and whether or not an oil change is due based on that usage. Great product.

Install was easy. I ended up mounting mine to the frame of my KLX300R under the side plastics, but in a place I can still see it and get to the function button. I felt this offered a little more protection to the unit, but still allowed ease of use. The display is clear and easy to read, it functions as it’s supposed to sensing engine vibration. You can change the sensitivity of how easily it kicks on and starts to track, and you also have the ability to lock the hour meter so it doesn’t come on during transport or when you’re moving the bike. Just remember to actually lock and unlock it.
