I hope this will help you make your purchase decision. It took me several days to finaly decide.Photo 1I put the 10k btu in my 16 RV. My furnace was sucking up a lot of propane so I followed the advice of many RV forums and bought it. It is a perfect size for my application. I can remove it when the winter ends and make room as that is one thing that comes limited in the 16' RV im living in. Temps get down to 7 degrees (-15 with windchill). Im using it at 7,000 feet, the manual satates operation over 4500 ft could cause pilot outtage. I havent experienced this (photo 2). Update: after 2 months of use it has shut off a few times. I can eventually turn it back on after 2-3 pilot ignition attempts. Not sure why this happens. Maybe it needs more air flow so i try to open a window more than usual when this happens. Still great product.Use a CO and LP detector!!!The manual advises you still have proper ventilation, i crack a window and my shower vent 2". I may buy a dehumydifyer if too much condesation collects. Got my eye on a $40 one. I use two CO dectors. Rv's and batter operated. Unit is simple to install. Update: never got the dehumidifier. With two windows open 2-4" I dont get much condensation accumulation. Maybe if there was another person in the rv; not necessary at the time however. Update comment: my CO detector has picked up low levels (10-35 ppm) of CO. I have a geneator on just outside the rv that has contributed to these radings but i do see 15ppm levels of CO on detector reading. At short periods of time these low levels of carbon monoxide aren't enough to trigger the CO alarm. OSHA recommends CO alarms go off after several hours (+4) of 50 ppm CO exposure.Photo 3Some things are contradicting in the materials included. The manual states it is designed to be used with 20 and 40 lb LP tanks while an additional more basic intructional sheet says to use with AT LEAST a 100 lb LP. im using it with 20 and 30 lb tanks. In the lowest setting, 1, a 30 lb tank lasts about a week in temps down to freezing. The temp is a cool 65 F inside the rv. When temps go into the teens and single digits with a similar level setting I can get 3-4 days or more outf 30 lbs of lp.Keep propane tanks OUTSIDE the structure!!!I plan on leaving this heater on most of the day as the high temp. will be below 32 many days this winter.Easy turn on. I just hope my LP lines dont freeze with LP oil. Its already happened once.Stay warm!

I purchased this heater before last winter and used it a lot. It’s very easy to use and once you get your area warm; the pilot lot kept the room pretty comfortable and when it got a little bit too cool; the thermostat turn it on and kept the temperature fairly consistent. We installed ours in a few minutes and it was ready to go. We had a friend who worked for the gas company double check everything and was ready to go. I’m so glad we bought this heater. It doesn’t use near as much gas as a couple of our other heaters. We are planning on replacing them one at a time in the future. I think you will be happy with this heater. It works great for us.

LOVE these units. So much so, I’ve purchased 6 of them (over the past years), for hunting blinds. Thermostat control works great. We have developed a gas leak at the tank connection. Brought the unit in to a propane business. They installed a new connector. Pricey, but fixed it.

Worked great for the first 3 months. Trying to use it this fall, won't stay lit. VERY common problem according to the internets. Try contacting the mfg? LOL good luck, no number will allow you to talk to a human. If you get the chance... Pass.

Have had this for a month or so, and it is definitely worth the buy. Works well and I even bought a CO detector to measure CO since I don’t trust it and it didn’t detect any CO after running all night.
