It has 3 settings and I haven't had to use the med and hi setting yet. The low setting heats a 20x30 insulated garage from 40° to 60° in about 20 minutes. I am still on the first 5gal. bottle and I have run it on low approx. 75 minutes maybe in 15-20 minute intervals. It is a little hard to ignite because the "pot" is so light. It slides when you push the fuel knob in, so you have to put your foot on the hose to hold it in place. I do it with my right arm and face away from the flame. You have to hold the knob in for 10 seconds or the flame will go out when you let go. It puts out A LOT of FUEL quickly so don't allow the fuel to run before you flip the ignite switch. It WILL trap gas inside and make a huge flame it you let it run too long. Hope this helps and keeps you safe. Have a good day.

real easy to set up using a 20lb tank. like that you can set flame to various settings. I use it for winter camping and in my garage. with it only on half flame setting i heated my garage up 10 degrees in 5 min when it was 20 degrees outside. i put my foot on base when I am lighting it so it doesn't slide and I am not close enough to singe my eye brows.

Awful. Most of the time won't start until several cycles. On three separate occasions threw a massive fireball. Very cheaply built, dangerous to use. Would not recommend.

The heater hooks up easy and heats well. My only caution is to secure the heater and stand back when you light it. The tendency is to hold on to the top as the heater will move when the control knob is pushed in. The heater can blowtorch, burning off your eyebrows, hair, etc. so secure the heater and use only one hand. I really like the heat this device puts out. I looked at the 200,000 BTU model, but that size is not needed for home use.
