I ordered these Long Gardening Gloves for Women & Men, Rose Pruning Gloves Thorn Proof, with an Adjustable Cuff, made of Breathable Leather Cowhide, suitable for Gardeners, Yard Work, Cacti, Roses, and Blackberries (Small) after noticing all the scratches of my arms after a day of gardening. The gloves arrived at my doorstep just in time for the garden party season. They cling to my hands as if they were a cat resisting a bath. While my other gloves might seem suitable, they have all come up short. These gloves, however, go well beyond my wrist, protecting my arms from the sharpest thorns. Their adjustable ends are perfect. They fit snugly in place. They stay in tack by not moving around and slipping every which way. They have an elastic that firmly wraps around my wrists, making sure they stay put. This adjustable cuff keeps out unwanted leaves and all those creepy crawlers' insects. They are made from the toughest cowhide that I have in my garden shed and with these babies, I have become the master of evading thorns. I can now handle roses, blackberries, ivy, and even the most challenging cacti with a bold and beautiful smile. To keep them good for my following day of gardening, I let them air-dry and occasionally I'll put them on during the drying process to preserve their valiant form. I love them

These were very good, exactly what was expected. I worked with them all day doing pruning and tree/bush removal. No cut on my arms as I usually would get.I liked the note another reviewer made that when the gloves wore out, they just cut off the originals and still used the sleeves. My hands are XL and they fit perfectly. I recommend using leather conditioner on all leather gloves for comfort and longevity.

Work great to protect whole forearm. Nice supple leather.

Used to move a yard of dirt. Sore back but no blisters. Dirt in my pockets but clean hands in the gloves. Stayed pretty cool considering it was over 100 that day. Good investment.

These are very comfortable gloves and I really like that they can be adjusted to be snug on my arms Which makes them very protective. They fit very nicely and are soft enough to allow for a good sense of feel through them.My only issue that took off one star is that one of the seams opened up about 3/4 of an inch the first time I used them. I can turn them inside out and fix the seam, but was disappointed. I did not feel it was worth sending them back. I’m sure With that repair, they will last for years.

Had to cut back an overgrown climbing rose bush, these gloves were awesome. Like butter when I put them on, and never got poked once.

The quality of these gloves and design is exactly what is needed to protect my husband's arm. My husband does a lot of work outside on the ranch and working on fences and cutting brush, his arms get all scrapped up. I think these gloves will stop some of that, IF I can get him to wear them. They fit him well.

I was skeptical of these gloves but so glad I took the chance. They are hands down my favorite pair of gloves. I specifically got them to hand churn soil in my wagon because I was tired of the soil getting down into my other standard gloves. What I didn't expect from these gloves was their breathability. I'm in an extremely hot and humid environment so I was sure these were gonna be hot and uncomfortable but no they are the opposite. They fit very well, especially with the drawstring. They will eventually begin to sag with hard use but I just readjust and tighten and I'm good to go.The best part though, breathability. Why do they breath so well, I don't know, they just do. I'm not saying they're A/C status now, but they're better than any of my other cloth, neoprene, and even leather gloves. They just do a really good job of staying ventilated. So much so that I have to fight the urge to not use them for everything in the garden (I want them specifically for breaking up soil and re-potting).They probably don't have the durability and protection a lot of people would be hoping for from leather gloves as they are not super thick. But for me the pay off is that fact that they breath well and that I can articulate my hands for delicate jobs like transplanting young seedlings.Oh yah, I want to mention since other people complained about the smell; it isn't any worse than other real leather products I've bought. They certainly do come with that leather dye smell but it wasn't that bad and it went away as soon as I started using them outdoors.Overall, excellent and highly recommend for light/medium duty garden work.

Soft. Fits true to size. Shipped quickly. Have not used them in the garden yet with the thistles. But the material feels thick and durable.
