I'll be honest, I got these things to practice blacksmithing. I wanted iron nails to learn how to shape the metal. Using galvanized nails is a horrible idea. These are soft enough that I don't have to head them up, as well. Oh, and I'm sure they're great for nailing things. They're pretty beefy.

They are big honking nails. It holds a bit of wood against another bit of wood. These do that well. So 5-stars for doing the job for which they were designed.

just took so long to get here that i didn't need them by now. but always good to have extra long "barn" nails around... just in case.

I measure these nails and they are closer to eight inches than six, too big. Some of the point tip of the nail was round not welded right. A waste of money.
