My cat was sick and couldn't groom herself and wouldn't let me brush her so she ended up getting a couple of small mats in her fur. This shaver was a life saver. It's small and quiet so it was a piece of cake to just quickly shave the mats out without causing her additional stress. And even though it's not super expensive, it feels like it was made very well. Would definitely recommend

Every spring, my 14-year-old long-haired cat gets very matted, very quickly. Shedding comes on so quick, and he doesn’t particularly like to be brushed. Although I have a great brush that has the blades to shred mats, his tend to be too thick and painful on his old skin. Brushing seems uncomfortable, so I used a groomer. My poor, sweet natured guy was traumatized, and it was expensive. And don’t get me started on the perils of using scissors to cut the mats 😢. So I decided to buy a quiet pair of clippers to help him out at home. Boy am I glad I found this product! 😸It worked fantastic right out of the box. I let him feel the vibration on his back, And showed it to him before we got started. I fed him treats before and after. My old man kitty did not seem to mind. 😻 It cut through his mats with quiet ease. Not a single nick on his delicate skin. I love that it is cordless too. I have a small 5 lb dog and have struggled finding good clippera. This is my third set I've purchased on Amazon and they are PHENOMENAL!! Quiet, small, powerful and gentle on the dog.I was able to give my dog his groom in 5 minutes. It's even great for his paw pads.Highly recommend!!

My vet recommended “Clipper†for my moderately matted domestic longhair cat. The first day of behavioral training went well. I introduced her to the clippers with treats, letting her sniff and interact with it while it was turned off. Then I would turn it on nearby while feeding her treats. She eventually let me groom her a little. I didn’t go for any matted sections yet, but she barely noticed when I began combing the clippers through her fur. Quiet, sharp, and easy to use.I like that’s it’s cordless and can be charged with a usb. Bonus points for its sleek appearance.

Our university cardiology people use these small clippers to shave a dog’s chest wall when they need to apply an adhering cardiac monitor. I was watching them shave my dog and commented on the clippers. The tech told me where they got them and showed me the box they came in. Since we have a dog sanctuary, I ORDERED 3 clippers. I used them for the first time last week. My pekingese was blowing his coat and he had a massive clump of gnarly matt beside each ear. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN???? I just thoroughly combed him out the week prior. Oh well. Out came the clippers. They worked as smoothly as BUTTER SLIDING ON TO A KNIFE. SLICKEST EAR MATT REMOVAL EVER. These are small and easy to manipulate and hold. I LOVE THESE CLIPPERS…PERIOD.

Love that it charges via USB and then is used cordless. Super quiet. Doesn't freak out the animals. Very lightweight so it doesn't tire out your wrist if you happen to use it all day (like at the S/N clinic I work at). Small so that it can get into hard to reach areas. SUPER SHARP! You can get it wet so it's easy to clean and disinfect! I'm getting some for all of my vet and horsey friends as gifts!
