***Frequently Asked Questions***
-1. Why is there black powder/dust on my floor?
Don't worry, it's normal, the barrel is made of rubber and is strong enough. Due to the friction between the machine and the barrel, some black dust may appear in the first few days of tumbling. Before tumbling, please gently push the barrel toward the belt to ensure that the barrel is close to the edge of the machine to avoid black dust. If it breaks, we'll give you a new barrel, but we're sure it won't.
-2. Can I put collected stones or even other items like glass or coins into the rock barrel๏ผ
We recommend that you choose a stone hardness between 6-8(Read more about the hardness of a stone on page 14 of the Learning Guide). If you want to tumble other things, you may need to learn and master some skills on how to polish the same thing. The steps may not be the same as tumbling a stone. Let's start practicing and believe that you can practice makes perfect.
-3. Why does the barrel not turn?
Check that the barrel is not underloaded or overloaded. Thoroughly dry the drum and bucket, making sure there is no oil or water on the bucket. If it looks shiny, dab it with sandpaper.
-4. Why is the final polished gemstone less shiny?
As the moisture evaporates from the surface of the final polished gem, the gem's appearance will reveal its true nature. You can apply a layer of mineral oil to the top of the gemstone to maintain its luster.

This is my first tumbler. It is quiet and easy to use. So far the first tumble cycle has done great. The stones are smooth and the colors are really popping. Definitely recommend!

You can beat this for the price. Itรขโฌโขs a nice tumbler, not super loud, and very easy controls. The amount of extra stuff in the box is also a nice addition

Got this for my three youngest grandchildren. It's fun for one of them. Two 11 year olds and a nine year old. My nine year old really enjoys it. It is noisy, so we tumble in the garage. It is fun and this model is well built and comes with everything you need to get started.

It arrived with the small drive wheel broken in half. I wrote the manufacturer and asked for a replacement drive wheel. No response. I glued the drive wheel back together and it works, but alignment is not perfect and the drive belts wear out after a few days of use. I will run out of drive belts within 2 months of use. And I cannot find a source for the drive belts. Do not waste your money on this. You cannot get replacement parts, and you will needed replacement drive belts. I tried the email address on the package, but no response there yet.

It has been runnning continuously for about 2 weeks now with no issue. Small amount of dust from rubbing but not to bad at all. Rocks has a nice polish already after the 1st tumble. Second tumble is currently going, It isn't the quietist thing but I have it in the basement and can't hear it unless I'm down there. Customer service seems very good even though I haven't had to use it they continue to tell me to let them know if there are any issues. Also came with many extra belts. So far so good.
