This Slide Film Cutter is specially designed to cut 35 mm and 120 format film strips. It is highly versatile and incredibly easy to use. The film strip will be neatly cut by placing the film strip against the panel side (the opposite side of the cutter blade holder) while sliding the holder to the other side.

Everytime I pull this out to use it I am happy with how well made and functional it is. The cutter is very sharp, leaving a crisp edge every time. The dimmer is a nice touch so you aren't blinded while working.A must have for film digitizing/archiving.

I am using this to cut 35mm negatives and 120 format negatives. This gives very clean cuts. The build quality is very good. I wish I had bought this item sooner.

This cutter works very well. It has variable backlight settings and it's very easy to see how the negatives are lined up to be cut. The cutting blade is also very sharp. I have no complaints and I'm glad I bought it.

I like this cutter for a lot of reasons; built-in light, accurate, easy to align. However, there is the slight of lips/edge so that when you are sliding the film it catches. It slows down the cutting process. Its not the biggest issue, but it does take raising the cutting bar high enough to free up the curled negative, lower it and then position to cut.

I almost bought the only other type of cutter that was designed for 35/120. Then I read the reviews....WAY GLAD I did not buy that one!! I actually found this cutter by accident. It is listed in a totally different category. The seller should take note to make sure this product lists in photographic categories!! This thing is like comparing a turd to a diamond! Cuts are clean and accurate. Film does not slip while cutting. Very little pressure needed on cutting blade. AND you can even get four replacement blades for under $20!! The other crappy turd cutter you had to buy a new one. If I could give this film cutter 10 stars I would.

This is a great tool for cutting the film. But there is a lot of lines on the screen which sometimes limits your vision to see where the exact photo ends. I wish the screen was completely blank and didnt have the annoying black lines.

This negative cutter is fantastic. Works great and its affordably priced. Comes with the power cord and its backlit so you can see through the negative and where to cut. Blade is sharp and cuts well. The power cord has a brightness attenuator attached so you can set how bright you want the light. I would buy again if I needed to.

I used to use scissors and would commonly cut them unevenly or not be able to see dark negatives. This is a life saver for properly cutting the film
