I’ve been using these linear actuators for more than three years. I use it for a wheelchair lift, to get my wheelchairs in and out of my car, so reliability is of the utmost importance! It is by far the most reliable piece of equipment I’ve seen for this purpose.Customer support and technical help is superb!I’m buying my second unit, not because the first one in any way is deteriorating, but I’m using a faster model. (It’s actually the same unit, with different gearing.)Again, if I could give them 6 stars, I would!

Works great, very strong. I ordered the wrong size so to return it and order another. The new one works great, does the job nicely, however dealing with Amazon support regarding the return was a very bad experience. I returned it the day after it arrived, and here I am almost 4 weeks later still waiting for my $322. I’ve had to deal with no less than 7 customer service reps at Amazon , some lying to me saying my refund is just 3-4 days away, and now being told I have to wait another 2 weeks. I have a friend that ordered an expensive ( cost more than my item ) table and chair set that they wanted to return because it wasn’t exactly what they thought it would be. Amazon told them to not return it, just keep it as a good will gesture, and they would send a similar replacement …. No cost! The Amazon return policies seem to be like leaves in the wind, blowing in all different directions, just depends on how lucky you are in the return process . VERY FRUSTRATED !

I even called manufacturer and told them what kind of use this would get. They said it should be a good fit. Didn’t hold up junk. Sent back

Well built. Did not like the round face of the actuator ends, these should have been flat faced. The diameter of the linkage hole at the ends of the actuator are ~33/64", with the piston end hole ~.002" larger than the base end hole, which is ~.002" larger than the 33/64" oil-hardened drill rod bar stock I purchased to make linkage pins use with this actuator. I used .004" steel shim stock to firm up the piston end linkage. Progressive Automations does not seem to carry any linkage pins that provide a tight fit for this actuator. This actuator is used to tilt a 800 watt tracking PV array in the north-south axis.

Just installed on a 1996 330 and this works great for 1/8 of the price of the OEM Sea Ray tried to sell us. May be different on yours but the only way it will fit is to take the ~4 in spacer that is on the factory engine hatch actuator.
