The ProGrip XRT Rope Lock Tie Down is a rope tie down with mechanism lock that holds items down during transport, ideally used for a variety of activities such as camping, boating, and working around the house or yard. Constructed with precision injection molded housing that allows resistance to corrosion in extreme weather conditions while the coated hook prevents surface scratches. Black rope made with solid core polyester that stays firm yet flexible while resists bio-burden, UV rays, shrinkage, and prevents stretching when wet; rope and lock system break strength varies on rope size. Features Extreme Rope Technology with ribs to lock the rope inside the wheel hub and a ratchet feature on the wheel set that locks the rope and prevents unwanted tension loss, allowing you to use without worry. Easy to use and ready after unpackaging; simply place hook on desired area, use thumb operated release trigger to disengage ratchet lock and unwind rope around desired area, place remaining hook on other desired area and easily tighten with one hand.

I like the push button release and use this to tie down a beach chair to my atv’s front rack. The 3/8†rope works very well.

SO much easier to use for light loads. Push button release is so much easier than complicated ratchets. Can be hooked together for longer straps. Rolls onto itself for really small storage. Love these!

Using these to hang punching bags so I can adjust them depending on students heights. The heaviest bag I use them for is a 75lbs aqua bag. Works great!

I got these for use with lighter loads and to be quick about it. They are quick and easy to set and great for small loads. I would like the switch for the release to be a bit longer or on the outside for easier acces but it does work like it should and no problems functionally as of yet. They seem to hold tension well and don't slip like I thought they might.They are great for a quick and easy tie down for when you need one and they don't take up a lot of space .

I’ve used pretty much every ratchet rope out there and I always come back to this one. The line release mechanism is far more easier to release than the lever actions I’ve tried. Depending on how much line tension you had on em you needed twice as much to release it. Push button has never failed me. I use mine to hang driveshafts up and out of the way when removing them to tow a downed tractor trailer. They get heavy but I’ve never had a line break nor the ratchet itself give out. One con I’d like to point out is I can get it cheaper at Lowe’s and faster but I’d rather wait a week and spend a few bucks more just so I don’t have to deal with peoplePros- works great with heavy material, easy release, ratcheting is smooth and quality lanyard is usedCons-cheaper at Lowe’s,

If you are looking for a simple tie down system, this is it. These are huge, each end is about 3" wide and 5" tall. There isn't anything easier than using these. Even tying a rope would be harder. These work excellent for keeping items secured in the bed of the truck and ensuring they don't go flying out. HOWEVER, these do not replace a heavy duty ratchet system. They wont secure large, standing items like furniture or refrigerators.These are perfect for securing branches, trash, lumber, etc. in the back of your pickup. The uses are endless.I wish the included rope was a couple feet longer, but it is simple to replace if needed.Pros:Easy!Does not take up much space in storage compared to a rope.Simple!Good priceCons:None, this is a great item to have.

Anyone that has ever wrestled with ratchet straps NEEDS to buy these. They are so simple to use, and so convenient. I kayak almost every weekend and these rope locks are sooooo much better than messing around with ratchet straps. My kayaking friend has a ratchet strap and it takes her much longer to load up, every time it's like, does the strap go in this way, or that way? Can you hold the end for me so it doesn't get tangled? I've told her and everyone else I know to buy these. You just pull the rope! And to release you just push the button. Really, just like the description says. I can't say it enough, if you have a truck and strap things down these are what you want. They are stronger and more dependable than bungee cords, and easier to use than ratchet straps. Just make sure to get the length that's appropriate for your needs. You won't regret buying these!

The ratchet works well and the rope is very strong. I think I may have over tightened one time because I had to untie the knit to release the pressure.

I use it for a double end boxing bag setup. (It's not easy knotting and aligning right height sometimes) this pulley was the answer.... Locks in place and easy to release and set up for different heights...hooks sturdy and enough length of rope.

I used two to put up a large sail over the pool. They worked well as a great alternative to ratchet straps. I could adjust position and tie down points easily.
