Operates just like it is supposed to. I'm 6'2 so the hose/wand is a little short for me personally to use for a long time. Other than that it throws some heat!

The ignitor doesn't work, it sparks but not enough to ignite the flame, and even more dangerous the fittings don't seal correctly. I wish I could return but I waited too long to use the product I am outside the return window.

This works great, I used it to torch, some wood for a wood project, easy to work with. Would recommend.

This thing is not worth the money and is a cheap piece of junk! 15 bucks more and you can get a professional one at Lowe’s, all the fittings leaked after tightening them, the igniter only worked sometimes. I never even got to put it to use after initial assembly and test run!

We were attracted to the pushbutton igniter that is part of this weed burner. This igniter eliminates the need to carry a separate device to get a flame started. The pushbutton igniter works with application of a very small feed of gas- high gas flows prevent the igniter's success. You must learn to press the weed burner's "throttle" lever very slightly to obtain low flow. Then, pressing the ignition button will ignite the flame, after which the full range of weed burner flame is available. We use this tool periodically to kill moss on a concrete retaining wall, and to kill weeds that appear in driveway and sidewalk expansion joints.

For the most part, this works as expected. The issue is that the igniter is not super reliable. Which means I always need to have a lighter available, so the igniter might as well not work at all.I do like having this for ice melt, and also smoothing rough resin - it puts out a lot more heat than the small propane torch I had been using. It was a reasonable price, and I can still use it, so not too concerned about the igniter, but a little frustrating nonetheless.

The flow valve and turbine trigger allow you to easily control the flame with one hand. Equipped with a 7/8 "-14 TPI, left-hand external threaded propane bottle connector, with a steel tip diameter of 2 5/8"It easily and effectively solves the weeds between the difficult to reach gaps in the courtyard, without any chemicals, and protecting nature has always been important.
