This turned out to be a very good case, plus it has TSA style locks. I purchased a Sire Marcus Miller V10 Bass Guitar during the recent Christmas holiday. A few years ago, I purchased Gator Cases Deluxe ABS Molded Case for Bass Guitars from Amazon for $89 (now $129.99). The molding inside my Gator Cases did not fit the body shape of my Sire V10. The ProRockGear Bass Guitar Case fits my Sire V10 perfectly. I brought these hard shell Gator Cases, to have a little more protection for my bass guitars than a gig bag. In my opinion, the ProRockGear Bass Guitar Case is a far better case, with TSA locks and more protection, at a cost of $78.47, you can't beat it!I tried this ProRockGear case with my Warwick Corvette $$ and Standard, MTD ZX, Fender Precision, and Ibanez 6-string and they all fit nicely without moving around in the case. As I stated, I primarily used a hard case when I want more protection than a gig bag. I know Gator now have a TSA rated case at about twice the price of the ProRockGear Case. I do not know if one case is better than the other; however, at this price point, you can buy two ProRockGear Cases for the price of one Gator TSA Case. At this time, I have no problem recommending the ProRockGear Case for transporting your bass guitars. I believe its a far superior case than the earlier Gator Cases I purchased. Maybe in the future, I will see if my Sire V10 will fit in this New Gator TSA Case and how it rates with the ProRockGear Case.

The best value for the money. Looks to be a sturdy case. I like the the latches and ease of the lock. I was struggling to find a hardshell case that could fit different shape and size basses. It fits a standard jazz bass snug. Fits an Ibanez bass snug. For a reference for someone looking for how it fits an old vintage short scale bass it is a snug fit from headstock to where the neck meets the body but there is a 4 in void from the back of the body to the end of the case. I plan on putting a thin layer of soft foam in the body compartment when transporting any short scale bass. All in all super happy with this purchase

I bought this on sale and my basses fit. Decent build. Not a heavy duty case but should hold up. Fit and finish is good.

This case was around half the price of the others that I researched and it is very nicely made! The edges are tightly fit and the snaps are rugged. The manufacturer has offset the handle ~4" to compensate for the center of mass of the bass so it carries perfectly level with my Fender Jazz bass. I wonder if all basses are weighted the same?he only thing lacking are lids for the cable and strap compartments, but the case lid has pads built into it that secure items in place. Really would recommend this to anyone!

You can see from the item photos that there is no form-fitted spot for the body of your bass. Maybe that's why you are looking at this case. But without any customizations, your bass will bang around in this case. Unless your bass is a rectangle, and if so, God help you.You can make custom inserts, which I experimented with, to make your bass fit like a glove. I did that, but at the end of the day I decided to return this case because it came bent. Look at the photo. The aluminum channel was bent right out of the box. I expect that the shabby box that it was shipped in was to blame. There was no padding inside the case and but the cardboard box was not sturdy enough to prevent the case from being smooshed in transit.I do like that this ProRockGear case has nice TSA locks. I have another Ibanez case for my SOLAR guitar that has the same locks and they are great. But for a little more do-re-mi, I can get the Ibanez universal bass case which is a little more form fitted and comes with foam blocks to get your bass to fit snug. The Ibanez bass case also has a more plush interior with more storage, comes with a zipper hard pouch (excellent!), and the plastic shell appears to be more sturdy. Also, the Ibanez case did not come bent.BASS!

Bought this for one of my collectible basses to keep its case in good shape because it's a anniversary case for my 30th anniversary Ernie Ball Stingray and the price was right at 80$. Came back to buy another for my Rickenbacker 4003 but the price is now much higher. I'll wait.4 Good locks,
