Its was easy to bolt into place and plug up. The old one sounded like an airplane taking of. This is so quiet I barely know its running (relative to the old one I guess).

I had our 14 year old furnace cleaned and inspected, and the only thing they found wrong was the vent blower. The original one had a plastic housing, which had cracked, potentially allowing carbon monoxide into the house. The repairman quoted us around $500 to replace it, but I figured I could manage the 6 screws or so that it took to swap the part, and then found the part for cheaper, as well. This one appears to be better made, so I don't expect to have to replace it again in the furnace's lifetime.
