I have the 2018 Paperwhite and have gone through several cases from other brands that would inevitably crack at the corners and begin chipping. My last case lasted less than 3 months before it started cracking at the corners, so I was desperately looking for a new case.I found this one and it looked almost too good to be true. A hand strap AND a kickstand? A cover that stays open? It was more than I generally like to pay for a Kindle case, but I decided to go ahead and get it based on the fact that every single review was 5 stars, and I am not disappointed.The Kindle fits in the case easily, and I'm hoping that the design of the corners will prevent the cracking that plagued my other cases. I've had the case for less than a week, and I've already gotten so much use from the kickstand. It's so easy to read while eating now, since I don't have to hold the Kindle or find something to prop it against. I just pop the kickstand out (love that it's held against the cover with a magnet when not in use), set it down, and I'm good to go. I can tap the screen with a knuckle to turn the page, and the case doesn't budge.I agree with another viewer that it would be nice if the strap were on the other side as I also prefer to hold the Kindle with my right hand (or even, dare I say, a strap on each side of the kickstand?) but it's comfortable enough to hold for an extended period without using the strap.All in all, I consider this well worth the price and am already planning to gift these cases to family members who have had the same problems with other cases.

All in all, probably the best bang for your buck in a smart case.I really wanted a leather case, but after reading some of the reviews for the Apple case I started looking elsewhere. One of the things I really wanted was a rubber--not hard plastic--corner. This case has that feature. it is also a smart case with a good magnetic seal--both closed AND OPEN. The cover really stays put when you're reading. I like the little stand also. The position of the handgrip means it's not quite as useful as it might be, and people with huge hands might have a problem with it, but I have small hands and use it quite a bit. I am not hard on my Kindle, so I can't speak to how the case will put up with abuse, but it seems really sturdy and the hinge material and construction seem made for heavy use. I got the blue, and it's a quiet kind of denim shade, and the overall aesthetic is stylish. Buy it.

Love the CoBak Kindle Case in every way. It is excellent for protecting my Kindle, fits perfectly, looks beautiful, and has a kickstand and elastic band as options while using it. The price is right and the shipping was extremely fast. BRAVO!

Would like to give it all 5 stars because I absolutely love this cover but..... there was such a chemical order when I opened it I thought I would have to send it backThank God for Febreze! I lightly sprayed it and let it dry and within a couple of hours the smell was gone. You may have to do something about the smell to let people like it more. A lot of negative reviews on the smell.Awesome cover and the denim blue is great.

I love this case for my kindle! It snapped on without any issues, and though I’ve actually tried halfheartedly to get it back off, I can’t. So it definitely isn’t going to suddenly turn loose and drop your kindle in the toilet while you’re getting your one good reading session in for the day.I also love the stand and the hand strap on the back. The stand makes it a breeze to read hands free should the need arise to ignore your in laws across the dinner table when they show up unexpectedly for supper.There are magnets to hold the case open and folded back on itself and they are quite strong.... but if you are laying down and holding your kindle by the hand strap, they won’t hold up to aggressive shaking and the kindle flops down instead of staying at an angle to read.The case is also an on/off switch for your kindle, which I find to be a really nice feature. Slap the cover shut and you’re good to go!

I use it for everyday use with occasional swimming pool access. The PU leather has great quality and nice finished sewing. The product has been designed to be left handled making a little hard to reach the back hand strap with the right hand. In my case, with large hands, it is possible but is not as comfortable as with my left hand.The foldable stand does a perfect job in almost any surface. I used it not only in portrait mode but also in landscape with more stability when used turned to the left but perfectly usable in both sides.The magnetic closure does a perfect job turning on and off the screen and keeping the cover in place, leaving the screen safe in almost any circumstance. The magnets are strong enough to avoid accidental opening when carrying the device in handbag o backpacks.

I NEVER write reviews, but I am delighted with this cover. It is so well built and the materials are of a high quality. But the best part of it the design. The little easel leg that pops out so you can prop the reader on a table, and the hand strap are both super useful and nicely implemented. I read quite a few hours every week and this will improve the experience. I bought the blue denim, and while that wasn't as important to me, it looks pretty cool.

This case is awesome. Offers protection, and it makes my kindle easier to hold. I appreciate that it doesn’t add much weight to my kindle as well. Its at a solid price point too which is great.
