I had this same thimble for years and I loved it, so when I lost it, I bought another just like it. The silicone bottom half is flexible and grippy, so it fits comfortably, stays on, and helps pull needles through tough cloth. The top is textured and recessed on top, for pushing needles into stiff fabric. If I had long nails, they might not fit inside, but I have short nails, and I definitely prefer this to thimbles with slots for long fingernails. I have stubby thick fingers for a woman, and this fits well.

I love this thimble. This is the 3rd time I purchased this thimble. Keep using them til they wear out.This is my 3rd thimble. I wear them out quilting, but they stay soft for years

I have never been able to find a thimble that I liked, they were either to big and would fall off or to tight. This one is perfect! I ordered another one.

This thimble fits good and being made with rubber it grabs ahold of my finger and doesn’t slip.

I have used these thimbles for several years. I know my size and I have others of this color. So when I say this one is smaller, it is smaller than my other mediums that are exactly the same product. So much so that it is actually tight and hurts. This is the only thimble I use so I am disappointed to say the least.
