As with too many items on Amazon, the specifications and/or instructions are as thin as hobo stew. Things good to know: 1) Measure your shackle end mount. If the outside diameter of the hole is about 1.9" you need the kit with 1.5" shackle inserts. 2) Soak every fastener with penetrating oil! I'm a fan of PB Blaster but even WD40 will help. Even better, take a wire brush to the exposed threads and make sure they are reasonably clean before washing them down with PB. 3) Taking the entire spring out is way easier than any alternative, especially for the DIYer. Notice that it is considerably easier to remove and replace the shackle outside the vehicle. 4) Stock spring mounts are pressed in, frequently with a steel housing. The trick is to relieve the tension between the insert and the spring. Using a shop press, if one is handy, to force the steel insert (the piece the attaching bolts go through) out of the rubber. With a little creativity a two-arm puller can also be used. Once those hardened steel pieces are out of the center you can use a 4" grinder with a cutting wheel to slice through the steel housing at the gap where the spring wraps around to form the hole for the mount. Maybe take a hacksaw afterward and cut through to the center of the rubber too. You will notice there is a lip on one side of the stock insert. You want to pound from the other side. Use a chisel or similar to collapse the edges of the steel sleeve inward. Put more of your favorite penetrating liquid into the gap between the sleeve and the spring. Keep pounding (judiciously) and applying lubricant. In short order the old one will be on the ground and you will be vastly relieved. 5) Clean out the holes where the new parts go. A powered wire brush or even a cylinder hone of the right size will do. 6) when putting the bright red new plastic in, use the "secret" lube included with the kit, be generous (if you run out grab some silicon lube on Amazon). Properly greased, hammer (judiciously again) one of the inserts into the spring mount. Lube up a new steel insert and tape it all the way into the red insert you just placed.Flip the spring over (far easier said than done) and put the matching red plastic insert over the protruding steel insert and do more of that pounding. Repeat five more times.

These bushings are awesome for jobs with springs on the vehicle as opposed to pressing a rubber bushings with metal sleeves
