This is the only catfood my cats will eat. They love it and having it shipped to the house in rural Nebraska is great. The downside is i signed up for the subscription delivery so it comes automatically every two months.. In a perfect world. It hasn't even been a year there have been problems with the last two shipments. One extremely late. This last one (I can track the order) has been sitting in KS for the last 5 days, they can't give me a shipping date and it's already a week late. So I have cancelled the subscription (which was to make everything easier) and I will order as needed. I just reordered it so we'll see how long it takes to arrive before I make the 1.5 hour drive to pick up catfood...

I've been feeding Purina One to my cats for several years now, but only recently discovered that it was available here. I have two cats and a 16 lb bag usually lasts me around 6-8 weeks. It would probably last longer if my neighbor's cats weren't constantly coming over to steal their food. :-) I find it sort of amusing that my neighbor also leaves dry food outside for their own cats, but that they seem to prefer coming over here to eat. I've never seen my cats eat any of their food, so it must taste better than what the neighbor is buying.I typically go out of my way to buy Purina One at the local "big box" store, because it is more expensive than most cat foods and I want to save what I can. Fortunately, the price here is exactly the same as the cheapest price I can find locally and I end-up getting free delivery with Amazon Prime. Having (16 pounds of) cat food delivered right to your front porch is pretty convenient when compared to driving to the outskirts of town and waiting in line for 15 minutes. Buying it from amazon saves me both time and gas.Both of my cats love both the Salmon and Tuna as well as the Chicken and Turkey flavors. One is an outdoor cat that is finicky, the other is an indoor cat that is not. They both seem to agree on this brand though. The main reason I started using it was because meat is the first ingredient listed. Since the ingredients are listed in the order of how much of it is in the formula, that means I know that most of what my cats are eating is good for them. While I might be able to convince my cats to eat the really cheap brands, to me it is sort of like feeding your kids junk food every night for dinner. If you really want your cats to live a long, healthy and happy life, you should put at least some thought into what you are feeding them. Purina One seems to strike the right balance between quality ingredients and affordability. It may not be THE healthiest dry cat food on the market, but it is better for them than 90% of the other ones you will find and definitely seems to be the most affordable of the "healthy" cat food brands I have tried.I've definitely never had a bowl of this cat food go to waste. Both cats eat theirs down to the last kibble and both have been perfectly healthy thus far (knock wood). If you are looking for a brand of cat food that is healthy for your cat, comes in flavors they will actually eat and doesn't cost a small fortune, I would highly recommend Purina One.

I'm satisfied with this brand of cat food.Others that were cheaper made my cat sick .. I've not had any problems here.I keep it on auto ship.

The Purina ONE Dry food has always been one of my favorites for my pets. Unlike most of other cheaper and even more expensive, brands out there, their main ingredient IS NOT 'ground corn' corn, but as listed on the label, they are "Salmon, brewers rice, corn gluten meal, poultry by-product meal, ect...". Yes, some of the most fancy cat food might contain whole and more 'wholesome' ingredients, and yes, corn gluten and poultry by-products are not the best, but for a relatively affordable brand and the main ingredient being a quality ingredient, this is good quality for the price. This is my first time buying it through Amazon, I usually get mine at "P.S" (one of the big pet retailers, you know the one), but having the comfort of having it delivered is great.The only reasons I can't give the cat food five-stars are these:1) For a 16 lb. bag, the price is currently $22.71, which is a $1.42 per pound price, yet for the 22 lb. bag, which is $42.22, that's at $1.92 per pound. Usually the more you buy of an item, the cheaper it is. So why is it that if I wanted to buy the 22 lb. bag it'd be more expensive PER POUND? So it makes more sense to keep buying the 16 lb., but quite inconvenient.2) The price for the different flavors is also different, even when comparing for the same price!! A 16 lb. bag of the Salmon flavor is $22.71, but a same size bag of the Chicken flavor is currently $31.25?? What?! Almost $10 more?! That's insane!! I don't recall exactly, but I'm almost sure that ALL the flavors of the same size bags are the same price at most pet stores. This just does not make sense.But besides those two points, Purina ONE is a great buy for the ingredients alone. And the cats love it! Just hope they can regulate the prices.

My 4 cats love this food. Great price got 16 lbs bag. Seems like my one male cats digestive issues are better with this food. Doesn't have a strong smell. We'll see how they all do. Switched from Rachel Rays.
