Ordered this specifically for dipping pretzel rods. I filled it with the wafers and put it in a bowl set over simmering water and it worked perfectly. It was so helpful to have something tall to dip into. It feels very thin, and at first we thought it was plastic, but it is glass and very durable. We have shipped it here and there, have lent it out, and it has held up beautifully.

There are no safe plastic food containers with our without BPA. They all have estrogenic activity leached into food to cause cancer.Ceramic glazing contains lead and cadmium that can leach into food under many common conditions. That leaves glass as a safe alternative for dishes and cups. Boroslicate is the strongest most temperature resistant form of glass and it also is beautifully transparent compared to soda-lime glass or other types of glass. This is not highly fragile. The markings on the side are convenient to know how much you are putting in.If you don't mind the unconventional look of labware at your dinner table. :)

This beaker is perfect for lab work. It isn't a second with air bubbles, etc. as the first two I bought were, so it's safe to use in the lab. I noticed some folks use it to make smoothies.I recommend inspecting your beaker immediately upon receipt to ensure there are no imperfections and to make sure it's not cracked. I took one star off for poor packaging.

I have a 4.0L Zojirushi water boiler at my desk so that I can make my daily Vietnamese coffee. I keep it cold in my Thermos 24oz stainless king drink bottle (also purchased through Amazon). I tried using the glasses at work, but the thick lip on the glasses made pouring into my Thermos a hot MESS. This 600mL tall form beaker is perfect for my Vietnamese coffee maker (I use the large drip cup from my local asian store, not the small ones that go over mugs).I pour about 50mL of sweetened condensed milk (which comes to 3.4Tbsp) and put in 4 heaping spoonfuls of Trung Nguyen coffee (also from my local asian grocery store). Place the drip maker on top of the beaker and pour a little hot water into it and wait 30 seconds for the coffee to absorb the water. Then fill the rest of the drip cup with hot water until you eventually get a total liquid content of 450mL. Mix the sweetened condensed milk at the bottom and the coffee together. Gradually pour this into your 24oz Ice filled Thermos drink bottle. This beaker makes the pour super clean and easy. My daily coffee ritual is so much better!I can also see

This is a lab quality beaker. I bought it to use with my one cup coffee maker. It's perfect because it is tall so you can grab it at the top without burning your fingers and it has a convenient pour spout.FYI, "Berzelius" just means it's a taller and thinner than a standard "low form" beaker.Note: The photo shows a 300ml beaker. This 600ml beaker has marks every 100 ml.

Sometimes you just need a tall form beaker instead of a short one. Thanks, Berzelius!

This beaker is ideal for containing the vortex of hot coffee plus the assorted fats and flavorings made by an immersion blender for a 15-ounce Keto coffee. It's durable and a cinch to wash up afterward. Bonus: It's attractive, as well.

I like nerdy things and I also hate trying to figure out ratios with conical glasses. And I'm definitely not going to use a separate measuring cup. So I decided I'd order up a beaker. These are awesome and hold a larger amount of fluid than your average 16 oz beer glasses. I'd give it 5 stars but the durability is an issue. I don't know if it's the specific manufacturer trying to economize on glass or if this is a standard design, but I've already broken 2 of these. One was a fall so that's entirely my fault. But another time it cracked pretty easily in the sink from a minor bump when cleaning. Of course I'm not going to mail back a bunch of broken glass on Amazon so I just let it go. I know these are made for lab work and not for drinking out of, but I don't think it would hurt to just up the thickness a tiny bit.

Perfect for iced tea production. Durable and millions of uses. I use it as a tea pot. Just top it with a silicone coaster et voila
