I used this to replace an old existing mail slot that was worn out. We had to fiddle with it a little bit but overall it was not too hard to install. I needed the sleeve for the slot also, could not find the size needed on amazon. If you run into this problem checkout Ace hardware, that is the only place I could get one to fit this size mail slot.

I have this on office door. It's good quality and works perfect for what I needed. The first one got stolen and i had to purchase another one. Well the front plate was stolen, not interior piece. But i love it, it works well for me.

Bought this because I thought it would be good quality. Had my house re-sided and wanted an upgrade. Easy to install but the black coating chipped in 2 days of normal use!

I got this to replace our old mail slot--the flap of the old one has been falling off for ages. I measured the outer dimensions of the old one and found this one, a perfect match. It arrived less than 24 hours later and it's a perfect fit and it looks great!
