These BA9 led bulbs would be great to replace the instrument cluster or instrument panel bulbs, and also for dome light, dash light, map light, gauge cluster instrument panel lights, trunk light, license plate light etc.

In this day and age it doesn't make sense to replace an incandescent bulb with anything except an LED if the supporting electronics don't prohibit the switch.I use these bulbs in older automotive applications: gauges, cab interior lights, backup lamps, and things like that. They work well, and hopefully last much longer than an old style incandescent bulb.

Replaced the burned out bulbs from a 70's receiver. Gave a nice even light and brought it back to life.

Keep these bulbs out of direct view, as they're blindingly bright. They give my vintage pinball that "LED kit" look due to being a cooler white. I personally prefer warm white LEDs for the sake of nostalgia, but they seem to be decent bulbs otherwise. The dome portion is shorter than traditional 44 bulbs, so they're more difficult to get in and out of socket.
