Featuring an 18-inch direct radiating driver powered by a 3600 watt class D amplifier, the KS118 delivers high sound pressure levels with dynamic and musical sound reproduction of very low frequencies. On-board DSP optimizes and protects system performance as well as offers advanced capabilities such as the ability to array two units in a cardioid arrangement. Highly transportable, the rugged enclosure features comfortable handles and four low noise casters. An M20 Threaded pole receptacle accepts a 35 mm pole for easy vertical deployment with full-range loudspeakers.

This is an excellent unit for my mobile wedding / pub gigs. There are products that go 'lower' or go 'louder' but this thing delivers excellent punchy bass that fills the room day-in and day-out at a great price.Combine it with a screw-in type crank-handle speaker pole and you have a solid base for even the biggest tops. Pairs great with my 68lb SRX812's. The included built-in casters are quiet and strong. Don't forget to order the factory cover to keep your investment safe!

Is this sub slightly over price, Yep!! Is it worth the money especially if your a moble Dj, Yep!! Does this sub hit hard and sounds impressive, abso-fu@king-lutely!! (check out what most clubs use) Is it a solidly build unit, Yep!!Are there better subs out there, Yep!! Would I buy a second one, yep already did.

Loved the sound when it worked...casters would rattle, but that's an easy fix. This sub stopped working after being used 3 times. The first time I used it, there was an odd odor coming from the speaker. The next two times it worked fine, no odor. I always test my equipment prior to gigs, as I got ready for the 4th gig, this sub would power on, no sound. It's been in the shop since the last week of September with an amp module on order and no real date as to when it'll get fixed as everything is backordered. I do have another sub at home, but I regret selling my 181s now as I never had issues with those and had them for years. I never had trouble with any QSC equipment until now, so I'm not sure I'll be purchasing any additional QSC equipment in the near future and definitely won't buy this sub again until they have fixed the issues.

Had this for a week and a half now and love it sounds great and was shipped with care and discretion. Arrived ahead of time. Put it in my home and haven’t even run it very hard yet but being an 18†is it’s very impressive. I bet my neighbors hate me now!!!

Great subwoofer it puts my old JBL Eon to shame. Not even in the same league. Price was good from VIP PRO AUDIO and I am now a big fan of these guys. Buying all my gear from them
