Wish I had these sooner. Tried all other types of needlework frames that were too cumbersome or complicated. Found these and thought I would try it on my large project. They work out perfectly to hold the fabric taut and turns over to easily end stitch threads. I did read somewhere to put a thin piece of felt between the fabric and the clamp to help protect the stitches and it does help. Very happy with the Q Snap product. I also bought the extension pieces as well.

I'd never even heard of Q-snaps until recently, and had always used hoop rings up until now. These are great! I have struggled a little to get them lined up nicely with the fabric (rookie mistakes most likely!), but once on, the tension remains where it was set and the size is perfect! :)

The original Qsnap brand are the best. Off brand are not as sturdy or as accurate as the original. Made that mistake only once! Definitely better than hoops I think. Easier to hold and doesn’t leave hard to iron ridges on your fabric.
