i sing in a trio, and one of the girls likes to wear an ear plug to hear her notes better. The pre-formed ones were too big for her small ear opening and kept popping out. These work perfectly !!!

These ear plugs begin to deteriorate within a single use in the pool. Not sure if the chlorine causes it to deteriorate faster but they simply do not last. My daughter has pieces of ear plug around her ear and in her hair. They are also not that pliable after you squish them down into your ear (tougher fit for children).

Arrived in one day! My 10 year old granddaughter loved all the color choices and had no problem with water getting into her ear canal. Very pleased with this product!!

I ordered these because I must sleep with ear plugs every single night of my life. It's true.My wife is (a lovely) snorer, and will keep me awake all night if I don't have an effective ear plug set in. I've tried many, including expensive silicone ones, that must be boiled in water then custom fitted.Like those, these are truly custom fit to your ears, and your ears alone. After rolling them into two little balls you force them into your ears, forcing them up (just a bit) into your ear canals. Not alot, but enough to cut off sound entering.These do that superbly. They are soft, pliable, and easy to work with. They make a perfect form of the outer ear canal, and part of the outer ear. Beautiful.I slept with them last night, and they were incredible. I mean, zero perceivable sound. A few times I had to check to see that my wife was actually there and asleep.So here's the downside for me: Because I'm not using these for their intended purpose (swimming) they are really disposable. Why? For one thing, because they deform when you remove them. They fit so perfectly (if done properly) that you must partially deform them taking them out.Of course, this is not a problem since they are so pliable, and continue to stay that way. But that's part of my issue, in particular.Because I can take them out and reshape them when I put them in again, they tend to get dirty. The fact that they're soft makes them like a debris magnet. It might be house dirt, tiny bits of skin or ear wax, whatever gets near it seems to get IN it.So, for purposes of getting a sound sleep they fall short, a bit. However, since that was not their intended purpose, it's hard to be critical of them. This is particularly true when I consider just how incredibly effective they are at blocking sound.So, in the end I probably will only use these when I travel. That way I will dispose of them with each use.They are so comfortable. It makes me a bit sad that after shaping them they don't harder and maintain their shape forever, but that's not what they are.I can easily see why these are particularly great for swimmers, since once they are formed to your ear they are completely occlusive, blocking water the same way they occlude sound.This is a very good product for it's intended use. Sadly for me it's not perfect for mine.
