While the tea clamp could be better. Like an actual V band clamp. It seems to work just fine.But then everybody’s using them right now

The fittings themselves seem to be good quality stainless steel. My 3in OD stainless fittings and pipe sit nice inside the machined lip. However, some of the components on the clamp are not stainless! They are magnetic! Including the nut and bolt! Make sure you buy regular M8X1.0 nuts for the clamp!!! I tried to tighten the nut it came with and it destroyed the threads on the clamp! As shown in the picture... Definitely due to the "locking cuts" on the nut. I think I can salvage the clamp, and I ordered new M8x1.0 STAINLESS nuts to fix the issue. Otherwise, for the money.... pretty good.

I don't rave about much, but these clamps are bad ass with quick release bale and male female mating surfaces. Buy these, you won't be disappointed.Update: replace lock nut, it will destroy the thread. I replaced it with a standard nut and flat washer, the washer acts like a bearing. Still a good clamp for the price. Someone else reported the same problem and they are exactly right." If you use the nut it will destroy the thread"!!!Change rating to 4 star.

Just what I needed for my 4x4 truck's custom exhaust. I'm really tucking it up tight so it doesn't catch rocks on the trails but I need to be able to easily remove the exhaust for future repairs and mods. These connectors will allow me to make the exhaust in 3 pieces that are quick to disassemble/assemble. With the proper placement of hangers, these will be more that capable of handling the vibration and twisting the exhaust will go through.

The rings are good quality, thick and easy to weld to. The clamps are sturdy and provide even force to keep the pipe clamped together with no leaks. This is a great quality v band set.
