Brass contacts, and great fitment. Works on all gm distributors on vortec and tbi engines. Not limited to Mercruiser, works on Indmar and others.

Used it on my boat a 1984 Thompson w/350 260 hp .Boat runs a lot better...….just be careful changing the wireing .I messed up on the firing order and had a use a manual= should of been a 10 min. job!

Bad or used / returned part. Center post missing spring, would not fire / create spark. Continued issue with parts coming used or seconds.
