Full disclosure: I bought this to cut it up.Used this piece of pipe to make a latch bar for a gate. The metal didn't do anything unexpected while being tig welded, and is fairly thick walled.Has been outside for a couple weeks and has not shown any signs of tarnishing either.

We put up a closet system that gives us more space in a walk-in closet. The system is such that the area between the shelving/hanging units is covered with these rubber pieces for aesthetic reasons more than anything else. However, probably because of the way we cut the units, the rods kind of split apart in 2 areas with one hanging beneath the next one, causing the hangers to slide. We measured the width and this was perfect to cover the area and give it some support. We taped over it with white tape so it matches the closet units and it's perfect.

Threads are not fully cut. This pipe does not work with standard NPT threads. These are not made from nominal pipe sizes. I would say these are more for decorative designs applications. Do not use is this for any plumbing type of application. The nipple will bottom out before you can even start tightening it in a standard NPT connector. The 3/8" is made from 1/2" pipe (0.500") picture claims it is 0.53 my calipers read dead on 1/2". Standard nominal NPT size for 3/8" is 0.675" size pipe. Pipe is very nice looking. Says that it is for standard NPT connectors but that is false. You will see other reviews stating threads are not fully cut and are too small. They are accurate and these are not just accidental one offs.

I put risers on my Spyder and love them, but if I had thought sooner, I wouldn't have cut off the old handlebar! It is a good place to add accessories. So, since that bar was gone, I had to thread into what was there and thread these pieces into that space to carry 'handlebar accessories'. These work well, I put one on each side and I am using them with handlebar mounted gadgets. They are solid, the right O.D., and I am hoping that the SS construction means that they won't rust because I run in the sun and rain.
