Clips work but they should be used on a large quilt. I used them on a child size (not crib size) and rings kept falling off. There is no way to adjust the rings. I wound up using binder clips to hold my roll in place. Will definitely use them when I am working on a full size quilt.

I bought these to quilt a twin size quilt on my domestic machine. They worked well. I think I probably could have used more clips as I only had 4 clips per side but they did keep it rolled nicely

I bought a set of these quilt clips to help hold my quilts as I machine quilted them. I thought they might make the handling, twisting and turning a little easier. They do help to hold the excess quilt out of the way and make quilting more manageable, but they slip and need to be readjusted fairly often. The clips are very smooth and will not harm your fabric or scratch your machine. They are very flexible and easy to use. I would buy them again.

I am a VERY beginner quilter…working on my second quilt now…and as I’m trying a queen size quilt on the most basic Brother machine (LX 3817) I needed something to keep the bulk of it rolled up and out of the way whilst I quilt it. I tried the plastic ones but they were useless - slipped right off. So I went looking for the old-style metal bicycle clips that we used to use years ago to slide onto our ankles to keep our jeans tucked away out of the chain and spokes…no luck…then I found these Dritz Longarm Quilters Roll Clips…TAH DAH !!!! Success!!! They are not just for longarmers, they will work for any quilter!These work beautifully!!! They have plenty of bendiness, they are unbreakable, lightweight , great value for money, easy to use and EXACTLY what I was looking for. Added bonus…if I ever take up cycling again I can use them as bicycle clips to keep my pant legs out of the way!

I was looking for something to keep my quilts rolled for movability while making them. Unfortunately there is no way to keep these firmly in place. They fall off, and are not adjustable to tighten or loosen its grip on the quilt while sewing.

I’m a quilter and these are a must have for machine quilting and Amazon has lots of quilting notions so much cheaper
