Why didn't I believe all the negative reviews. I was warned about crude manufacturing with misaligned components and failure to.open and close completely. This device is so.poorly designed that if if manufactured decently it cannot enlarge battery terminal clamp because it is much to small to exert.any significant force on the battery clamp.The photo does not show how small, and useless this plier really is.

This is an important tool to have for the proper replacement of the standard lead post battery. However it seems to be a tool of the past which has been forgotten about, as my local auto repair shop has not had one for many years. After checking with at least four major auto parts stores I found none of them carried them. Most young people don't even know what they are. I was very glad to find them available through Amazon. Great addition to my tool chest at a great price.

I lost may original pair of spreads and got real tired if using a screw driver to open up the battery terminal during electrical trouble shooting. These worked good, were relatively inexpensive and came well wrapped. Glad I made the purchase.

It will not fit inside small terminals because it is too big. Does not fit my Toyota MR2 and Honda Jazz and Honda CRV. Maybe it is for truck or bus batteries.

this does not work for me properly it doesnt hold the terminal whole expanding not a good product
