I wanted to upgrade from the factory "cheap" metal cable that is way too long and cumbersome. This keeps the emergency trailer brake connection nice and neat and tidy. No more worrying about having to deal with the long metal cable that was originally on there. Very easy to swap out and held up to 2 week trip through the Utah wilderness on dirt BLM/Forest roads.

Me and my wife are full time RV’ers with a modest size travel trailer. We do have trailer brakes on our RV, and I have been looking to upgrade our current emergency braking cord with a new one. I received this cable, and it feels very well made and of high quality. It was simple to install and only took a few seconds. I have seen similar brake cords in the past that were shorter, and this cord is great and has plenty of length. The ‘key ring’ type clip that comes on the lanyard is simple to install on your emergency braking mechanism. Overall, If you’re looking for a more identifiable, reliable and heavy duty braking cable, this is the one.

The included hook does not fit onto the chain loops on my hitch. I had to purchase another safety chain hook to use the cable. This product is much better than the original cable that came with my trailer.

My cable was damaged, so I needed a replacement. This seems like a great solution, haven't had much use, but seems well made, curled cable is a great way of keeping the cable from fouling on over parts of the trailer, so looking forward to full use. Was easy to fit brake insert let to cable, all parts appear well made/serviceable.
