I used this for a my stair runner. On a couple of the steps, the runner needed to be wider than my rug actually was. I needed something to hold two pieces together that would create a smooth, unnoticeable seam. This worked perfectly for my little project. These stairs are used multiple times a day by my family and pets and it’s held together without any issues at all. I forget that it’s there.

Came with no instructions. Tape wouldn’t separate from the paper and was such a waste. Do not buy no matter how great it seems. It’s awful.

Wasn't sure if I could seem together carpet I laid but with this tape and my clothes iron it worked perfectly. Iron is trashed but carpets down.

The tape requires a heat source to apply but doesn't state that in the description. Tape does not detach from the paper backing. Returned and bought another product that is actually tape.

It works exactly as it's supposed to. People with bad reviews simply had no idea how they were supposed to use this product. You need a carpet iron to melt the tape, it is not sticky tape!

The tape is a pressure tape meaning that you have to step on it for the seems to stay together. If your carpets are not anti-skidding, then the seem joint does not hold. Recommendation: Buy an anti-skidding fixable tape (one side that you stick to the underside of the carpet to make sure that the joints will stay in place and adhere to the pressure tape.
