These are great! At first I put them on the corners and they did what they claimed as far as weighing corners down. Rug still slid but not as easy. I purchased another brand that was supposed to stick to surface and when I was about to apply to rug I noticed the white tabs on the ends of originals and peeled off! 😂😂😂. Now everything is perfect! No slipping and corners are weighed down. I guess I should have read instructions thoroughly instead of making instant assumptions. 😂. Lesson humbly learned.

Based on the many 5-star reviews, I'm guessing these work very well when you need to "stick" a small rug to a hard surface (i.e., hardwood or tile). My situation was different. Our laundry room includes a door to the garage thru which we enter the house 99% of the time. The room is carpeted. To prevent excessive wear in the carpet from the traffic entering the house and proceeding ~2-3 steps to the kitchen, my wife had them make a small throw rug that measures 27" x 47" that we put on the carpet. We have had a long-time problem with the rug slinking backward a fraction of an inch every time it's walked on. Eventually, it would fold when it came to the wall, and we would often catch our feet in the fold and almost fall. This product seemed to be the solution to our problem.In short, it wasn't. The grippers definitely keep the corners of the rug from curling, and they do stay adhered to the rug. What they don't do is stick tightly enough to the carpet underneath to keep the rug from creeping when stepped on. I actually corresponded with the president of the company about this issue. Great guy, who explained that the product is new and they were pleased to get information like this. The issue is the aggressiveness of the adhesive on the grippers. It is sufficient to grab and hold on a hard surface without being difficult to pick up if needed. But it is not sufficiently aggressive to stick to carpet. What I'm hoping is that they will come out with one designed specifically for rug-on-carpet applications.Incidentally, the company really does stand behind their guarantee. They gave me a full refund without requiring me to return them. For anyone needing to keep a rug from moving on a HARD surface, I would recommend them.

I have small throw rugs and runners scattered all over my house which has hardwood flooring throughout. The rugs protect the floors and look attractive, but the cats move them around some when they play and the corners were starting to turn up on a few. These "grippers" work great to keep the rug corners lying flat and hold the rugs in place. But yet the rugs are easy to move when I want to move them. These are a little pricey but I have had some in use for over a year and they are still working fine!
