Precise temperature control
This heater has a unique feature - an adjustable thermostat that lets you control the temperature with precision. The temperature adjustment range is quite broad, from 80 to 300°F (30 to 150°C), making it suitable for a variety of applications. For plastic drums specifically, it's recommended that you set the thermostat at 100°F (37°C), which helps ensure optimal results.
Fits most 55 gallon drums
It designed to fit most 55 gallon drums. And the cool thing is, they've used resilient springs to make sure the silicon heater can hug drums of different sizes and diameters securely.
Easy to Use
The internal heating body is made of nickel-chromium alloy wire, the ultra-thin flat plate heats up quickly, the heating effect is good, the thermal efficiency is high, and the service life is long.

Bought to warm 5 gal buckets of honey that have started to crystallize. Works great with the lower settings. Band gets really hot (800 watts) so I slowly move the thermostat up as it warms the bucket. Also works great to warm a water bucket for cleanup.

I have 50 gallon drums of coconut oil that solidify at 76 degrees.Options from other companies were much more expensive, but this guy gets the job done easily and quickly.Definitely recommend.

Heater gets hot fast and seems sturdy enough. Was hard installing by myself with drum in corner. I had to use string to tighten heater around drum. Too hard connecting springs in my situation. Plastic just doesn't transfer heat very well so my water didn't get hot fast enough. Couldn't get to 100 degrees in a hour with two heaters. Didn't even get to 90°. With metal I think it would've. My drum was insulated too.

So far, I'm very happy. This gets up to temperature fast and holds very well. I was a bit worried that it might be too hot, but it's kept my honey at a good temperature to de-crystalize yet not go over and ruin the honey.

I almost melted a hole in my carpet testing this out when I first received it. I bought it to loosen up my Fluid Film after I scooped it into a metal bucket. It has the ability to liquefy it completely. So if you have something in a metal bucket that you want to heat up, this will do it for sure. Good quality cord, and a dial thermostat. All of it seems to work as you would expect. Be careful. It gets HOT.

At first there is the rubbery smell, sue to manufacturing. But heat fast easy to set with the dial.
