I love this torch. It's versatile, easy to operate, has a Greta stand soon burnt hands or counters and an adjustable flame. I used it to glaze my honey ham for Christmas and it performed like a champ (better than the year I tried using my husbands big torch & had to refinish some cabinets..whoops!). I also used it for meringues and for creme brûlée. I couldn't find fine sugar (my bad sent my hubby to the store so wadda ya expect) so I had to use granulated sugar, which is harder to crystallize and it was perfect. The shell was crackin' good and a perfect contrast to the custard. Highly recommend this versatile kitchen torch.

Easy to use, comfortable to hold, very good safety features to satisfy any parent, and it does the job beautifully. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to go pyro... I mean provide a succulent finish to desserts, onion soups, crepes, and even French toast. It's amazing what you can torch... I mean embellish with a tool that easily crisps up any sugars, cheeses, meat or fish. :) It is very safe, stable and easy to fill.

This torch is far superior in quality to all the other mid 20-30 dollar torch's on amazon. Don't assume all torch's are the same, they arent. Poor quality torch's sometimes require multiple attempts to light, its infuriating, and the problem only gets worse over time. This one does not suffer from those problems, the safety is easy to operate and it stays locked down until the torch is lit, this means you can actually light it with one hand! it is also very easy to operate the lock on/off switch with one hand as well! The tank on this torch is slightly smaller than the standard issue bed bath and beyond torch, which is almost identical the the vector torch. However, the smaller tank is worth the trade off, and the size difference is not significant. Whether you're going to DAB CITY or actually using this in the Kitchen this torch will treat you well.

Very nice unit but suitable for desserts. For SousVide searing of meat it is not adequate.

Bought this due to Rosle having good quality products. However I dropped the item from a countertop onto a vinyl floor. The safety switch broke off, and now the product is useless. With the cheap plastic safety switch inoperable, the unit will not light. The switch is very tiny so the slightest abuse probably will crack the switch. Also I wish the plastic base was made on metal.

Classy and effective. Being European it has a safety on lock that I wish wasn't there, but otherwise it is a step up from all those no-name torches. I expect it to last a long time.

Excellent quality. You get what you pay for. I've had a number of cheaper imports in the past that break after limited use. This is clearly a quality product that is easy on the eye and easy to use and more importantly, to fill from standard gas containers bought from any shop or supermarket.
