This is a necessary item if you are servicing small ductless split air conditioning systems. Gasket is more than thick enough to seal well.

I installed a mini-split A/C and heater unit in my garage and to test the lines and pull I vacuum I already had the Harbor Freight gauge manifold kit for automotive use but needed this adapter to connect. Worked great just wish they had a single since i don't need two of them!

used this product once and the bushing in the photo which is green one is not the one they came with , it is white instead not sure if it changes solidity, the bushing is completely ruined and leaks everytime i install on a mini split unit. fits on a the fittings well but after 1 use and bushing is scrapped is not good. and i did not tighten like crazy i had tightened to point where it no longer leaks refrigerant.
