Purchased a motion light not realizing the mount box did not come with it. This worked perfectly. I like that it's metal and the color is perfect! It's well made and the hole for the conduit was threaded. Worked great. A little pricey for a piece of metal but seems like it will last.

wrong thread size on hardware. when I tightened up mounting screw, I just snugged it up and the mounting ear snapped off Chinese junk.

I needed to mount a light fixture outside on a brick wall. I wanted one that wasn’t this thick because I was mounting this on a brick wall. I couldn’t recess this into the wall due the amount of brick removal that would have been required. I only wanted the hole in the center in the back. I could not find a shallow junction box suitable for outside use. I believe this box did seal with the rubber gasket that came with the light. This one had plugs in the side ports, so that wasn’t a problem. The finish was good and the mounting tabs allowed the box to be secured to the wall.
