It can be difficult to remove an insert into the cage depending on your metal wiring size. It does help keep the bowl clean by being off of the floor. But if your pigs are like mine, they put their hands on the side of the bowl to drink so you do have to clean it about every other day. I do enjoy this type of bottle though because sometimes the metal ball bottles don’t really sets of water and can dehydrate the guinea pigs. I don’t see that problem happening with this specific water bottle.

It does keep the water bowl off the floor but it’s really hard to lock the water bottle into place.

I can’t decide if I like this or not. It’s for my rabbits because they knock over bowls. It works OK, but sometimes I have to play with it to get the water to come out.

Not sure if you all have been woken up by the sound of your guinea pigs drinking from their water bottles at night, but it will get to you. This takes care of that. It’s a very well-designed freshwater dish and the guinea pigs. Love it and it’s no longer going to wake you up in the middle of the night, listening to them drink their water.

I have 8 Guinea pigs, and it is so difficult to find a good watering system for them mainly because it will get EVERYWHERE. I’ve tried bowls, filtering water bowls, no drip bottles and they all just created huge messes.I saw this and thought I’d give it a try and it is A BEAUTY! My Guinea pigs will sometimes get 💩 in the water, but these are super easy to slide the bowl area in and out and to clean. It’s easy to refill and there is hardly any water being spilled, so their cage is way less messier than before! I am in love with these and highly recommend it!!!

We tried it and first it is very difficult to get attached to the c&c cage. Also it's not sanitary. Within a day of using it there was poop and pee in the water from the piggies.

This is a horrible product. Bunnies are chewers and everything in their cages needs to be safe for them to chew. This is made from plastic which would create health problems if swallowed- would potentially need to be surgically removed. It is clear that the designers have never had a bunny! I want to return it. I have had it 5days and it is unused because I refuse to put crap that will harm my bunnies in their cage and this is why my bunnies live their life expectancy. It has only been out of the box for a few minutes- long enough to assess the quality of the material as unsuitable. However, this item is not eligible for return and Amazon fails to tell you that before you buy it. Very unimpressed. DO NOT BUY! STEER CLEAR! THIS IS NOT A MUST BUY!
