  • Swix Side Bevel File Edger Tool with Swiss-made ICECUT metal file (will do Magne-Traction Lib Tech). Side edge 88 (or 2.0) and 89 (or 1.0) deg; 600-grit diamond file for Swix Orange Edger. waxed 3 boards and tuned the edges on 2 of them. pretty easy to use. i was sliding really fast on the snow after i waxed.

I have skied my whole life, but given I can learn anything via YouTube. I went ahead and took the plunge to buy my own tuning kit. I watched a couple videos on YouTube and was able to wax my skis easily. I may attempt to work on the edges down the road, but the skies have only six days on them, and just needed a wax.

Seems like a really nice kit! I like the iron a lot and the scrapers seemed decent, the metal scraper was a little bowed, which I don’t know if it’s supposed to be like that. Honestly feels a little expensive for what it is, but not the worst thing.

Easy to use. Worthwhile if you're willing to use each year. If only do 1x doesn't cover cost of board shop doing, but after 1x it pays for itself. I already did 4 boards.

Has everything for a basic ski/snowboard tune. Everything works nicely and the bag has a pocket/place for each piece, very nice to have an easy way to transport and store. This isn’t a super technical waxing kit, comes with a basic wax and only one grit for edge sharpening (I also ordered a brass brush from the same brand to supplement the kit), but will definitely get the job done. Recommend for people just getting into tuning their own equipment or lazy skiers/snowboarders who don’t wanna put that much effort into tuning or money into buying a full table, clamps, etc.

The waxing kit was exactly as described and so far it seems to be of great quality. The instructions are not very clear, but otherwise I’d say it’s worth the money.

Decent kit for the money. Iron and scrappers and pretty good. Edge tuner fells pretty cheap and only has 88 and 89. The wax that came with the kit was not idea kinda felt like candle wax. Would recommend kit but definitely get some better wax
