I love that this gage simply fits into the same location as the RACOR T-handle. It makes a leak-free seal and the marker needle helps you understand your worst suction condition, which often occurs at high loadRPM when you are not able to watch the gage.

Nice and large with tracking arm to measure highest readings. Not oil bathed guage like old ones, but this is genuine Parker guage

I would give it a zero if I could here. I thought this was a no brainer way to incorporate a vacuum gauge into my fuel system. Got the parts and screwed down the lid. After running my engine for about 15 minutes, it suddenly quit. Found out I had completely emptied the entire diesel fuel system from filter to fuel injectors, which is a PIA to get primed back up. Turns out the stem is about 1/8" too long so would not completely seal the filter!! I was told by Racor that this will not fit on any filters pre 2012. Now I ask why would anyone simply decide to add 1/8 of an inch so that this system would not fit on all of the Racor Filters that in every other way are identical? And no, they don't make a shorter version of this stem. I could have it cut off and do plan on it, however it will have to be done in a shop as this is a beveled stainless stem that needs to easily screw back into an aluminum housing without stripping.

Works 100%, very good build quality. Two pointer needles and one drag needle make for easy reading after engine shutdown. Five stars if it was a little less costly.
