We have a two plus one tandem kayak and these stands hold the kayak up with no problem. We store the kayak in an all-weather wrap and place on these stands for storage behind our shed. Very durable and has never tipped over even in 70+ mph winds.

These came ready to use right out of the box. I store my canoes upside down on the gunnels usually sitting on a couple of logs. If I leave them too long critters dig dens under them. Also I'm concerned about carpenter ants eating the seats and thwarts although that's never happened.I wanted to store them a little higher off the ground so I got one set of these as a test. It actually fits perfectly.Also, I thought if these were too small I'd try setting a log across each of these and try that. (See photos)Anyway, they work well. It's easy for me to left them up and on with or without logs.Updated April 11, 2024. I bought another set for another canoe. Working great

I needed something a little better than the sawhorses I've been using for my kayaks while cleaning or working on them. The photo shows a sit on top kayak but these stands work as well or better on my sit in kayaks. Very light weight, sturdy and easy to use. The design is easily adaptable for different hull designs. I'll be buying another set.

This product is made of steel and is more robust product compared to some others that require assembly and use different structural materials - this one comes assembled and QA checked. Even the storage bag is OK. The webbing is sturdy and the soft rubber pads on the rails gently but confidently grip the kayak without marring the surface. The literature indicates a load rating of 100 pounds and is therefore very adequate for my 50 pound kayak. Works great for my purposes in the field, for cleanup and storage.

While storing a kayak in an apartment is hardly ideal, this is the most elegant solution that takes the least amount of space.

I wanted to love these, but I have a wide boat and it's so hard to keep it centered on these, they keep slipping to one side and the rubber is more of a hindrance than an help for that (somehow not grippy enough to keep the kayak from slipping around on it's own, but too grippy to reposition the boat easily by yourself without moving the stand on the opposite side). They get the job done of keeping the kayak off the ground while we get the space in the garage usable, but I'm considering just getting a pair of sawhorses instead
