This thing holds tight to the windshield so you can attach the equipment anywhere you want. It’s also adjustable so it can be angled in whatever direction you need. Up or down. This is much better than the two little suction cups that came with my Cobra radar detector. It was always falling off and was very frustrating to me. This stays in place and was very easy to install. It feels solid and not too costly at all. I recommend this item. It will help ease your frustrations.

Well-made. Will fit many different brands of detector. Solid construction. A little hard to put together since I am partially disabled but once together it works like a charm. Good value for money. Recommended.

I have always had problems with the clear plastic suction cups that come with any windshield mount anything. The sun yellows them, the heat bakes them, the cold freezes them, they get brittle and allow gravity to do its thing.This mount fit my Cobra radar detector perfectly and was super easy to install. The dial for the suction cup, works very well. I will be buying an extra one of these just in case this one ever fails.
