The part looked good and fit, but the ground line from the main computer was not internally connected to the line that goes to the fans from this unit. The mechanic ended up having to bypass it and take the ground directly from the chassis, effectively making the fans run full bore 100% of the time. The unit is in there and we were able to rig things up so the car runs. It’s hot enough where I am year-round that running the fans 100% of the time at full power isn’t the end of the world, but at the end of the day the unit was defective and required jury-rigging of the repair. I needed my car and didn’t have a choice but to move forward with it as-is; waiting 5 days for an original part from the dealer wasn’t a realistic option.

I had a fan that would turn on when the A/C is on, but would not turn on at other times - this led to the coolant overflowing out of the reservoir. I replaced the temperature control module - that did not fix the problem. I then replaced the engine coolant temperature sensor - that fixed the problem.

This got my E fans working again on my sienna.Quick install, just 3 plugs and two bolts.You don't need to remove any surrounding parts, remove side plug first, then 2 bolts then the two bottom plugs, reinstall new part in reverse sequence.
