My suzuki TL1000Rs fan didn't kick on until about 225 degrees. Outrageous. So, on the forums they recommended a kingquad temp sensor because it kicks the fans on around 200 degrees. Sure enough, it did. Maybe 205-208 degrees. Still a big difference. Build quality is just about suzuki's build quality. Can't even tell really. I also bought a OEM suzuki sv650 temp sensor because that was supposed to work as well. Well, it didn't. It was about the same. So i stuck this one back in. Problem solved and runs cool now. Never gets above 185 unless idling for a while. These bikes run HOT.

Got a 04 400ltz with a big boar kit.It needs to be cooler than a stock ATV. I'd check to see when the fan is supposed to come on. This one comes on but it comes on later than the OEM one used to. It does work fine. But dont fry your quad before the fan kicks on.It did work (for now) and it did plug and play.I'd like it to come on a bit earlier to keep it cool

Amazon said this wouldn't fit my 2003 Suzuki V-Strom 1000, but I took a chance on it anyway. Saved me $40, Turns on when its suppose to. Going on a long trip for a few days next weekend, if it fails I'll let you know.Update: It worked perfectly and is still working as it should. Would buy again.

First off, the wiring harness connector that connects to the unit would not fully connect and lock into place. When I tested the temperature settings they were low. Switching between 140° and 160°. According to my OEM service manual the the cooling fan Thermo switch should turn the fan on when the coolant temperature reaches 199° and then turn the cooling fan off at 189°.I made my tests with an infrared thermometer with the switch installed in its location in the radiator.I am returning the switch for a refund and not wanting a replacement chancing getting the same results from another replacement switch.- and then wasting more of my valuable time.Your choice -
